Jordan Vallender

Jordan was born and raised in Las Vegas, Nevada.

She graduated from Northern Arizona University in May 2025 with a Bachelor of Science in Journalism and a minor in Spanish. During her time at NAU, she was a part of the student run news team where she took on roles such as reporter, producer, anchor, and weather forecaster. In her senior year, she was promoted to Weather Director where she helped other reporters grow in their knowledge of weather forecasting.

In the spring of 2025, she interned with a local station called Arizona’s Family where she worked for the Flagstaff bureau covering stories throughout northern Arizona.
